Led by career coach Carol R. Anderson, this workshop will demonstrate how to write a targeted, persuasive, evidence-based letter that bridges the gap between a job posting and your resume. Some employers will not read a resume unless your cover letter is strong enough to convince them to bother. An effective cover letter offers additional examples of the results of your using highly desired skill sets, as well as what has attracted you to this specific employer and opportunity. These are further evidence of your “fit” for a particular job.
